What is MFG Day?
Manufacturing Day is a national event held annually on the first Friday in October, conceived to show students, educators, and community members the reality of modern manufacturing.
What You'll Experience
GET CLOSER TO THE TECHNOLOGY
Join the guided shop floor tour for an inside look at live manufacturing, including precision machining and grinding, automation and robotics, quality inspection, metrology, and more.
PUT PRECISION TO THE TEST
Try hands-on activities that reveal just how small manufacturing tolerances can be. Measure everyday objects, test parts with precision gauges, compare surface finishes, and discover why two parts that look identical can be very different.
SEE PRODUCTION IN ACTION
Not taking the tour? Drop in to explore the lobby exhibits and interactive demonstrations, then head to our conference room for a window view of the active shop floor.
